ICE Qatar Lecture CIHT Qatar & ICE Qatar Joint Event Measuring Construction Performance Andrew Woodward (Regional Director Qatar & Technical Director – Quantum Global Solutions)Monday, 19th November 20186.00 PM to 8:30 PM Rotana City Centre, Doha, Qatar.
Overview
Measuring Construction Performance
Construction and contracting is a commercial enterprise. In return for the construction of the Employer’s facility, the Contractor hopes to be paid sufficient funds to cover his costs and return a profit to shareholders. With profit margins for contractors typically being around 5%, it doesn’t take much change on a project for a Contractor to be faced with losses.
Accurate and timely reporting is therefore vital for delivery teams to keep projects under control. This presentation looks at some of the key performance indicators available to delivery teams on construction projects and looks at how, when used together, such indicators can help project teams set strategies to deliver the success required.
